BODYWORK 
The panel work is very good as is the quality of the paint with only a couple of small, overall though, Chilli is in amazing condition.
 
MECHANICAL
He's been well looked after by his previous owner and with a 5-speed gearbox, 2.1 litre fuel-injected engine the drive is amazing - it's like driving a modern car with a VW look and feel.

INTERIOR
Chilli's interior is an original Westfalia that looks tip top, and being VW-converted, they've thought of everything. It's got a cooker, sink, fridge, rock and roll bed, swing out table, captain's chair, loads of storage, 4-speaker stereo, 240v hook-up, 2nd battery system and petrol heater. There are a couple of small holes in the original canvas that we will be making watertight. The pop-top makes it ideal for standing up when cooking.

DRIVING
He drives very well, the steering is nice and positive with no wandering. The gear change is good as are the servo-assisted brakes. The engine is awesome that pulls through the gears nicely and has some extra poke to power you up those hills. We've been restoring, selling and servicing VW's for over 20 years now and we think this bus is up there in terms of how it drives, we's happily drive this bus every day.

CAMPING
With everything you need, why wouldn't you want to go camping in Chilli? And driving the way it does, he's perfect for a European adventure.
